Alameda Brewing’s brand-new 20-barrel brewery uses locally sourced equipment.

Located in Southeast Portland, Oregon, Alameda Brewing’s new brewery is a state of the art facility with equipment sourced almost entirely from regional manufacturers. The new facility has a 20-barrel capacity and a grain silo and was built by Global Stainless Systems of Canby, Oregon. It supplements the original 5-barrel brewery located right inside the Alameda Brewhouse.

Alameda Brewing Co. is a small brewery that began its life in the heart of Beaumont Village in Northeast Portland.

Our 5-barrel (155 gallon) brewery began producing craft beers in 1996. All of our beers are produced on location under the careful watch of the head brewer. He produces a wide variety of beers, from the light, refreshing Siskiyou Golden Ale to the deep, impenetrable Black Bear XX Stout to the extremely hoppy Yellow Wolf Imperial IPA. We are perhaps known best for the Black Bear XX Stout, which won the Gold Medal at the 2003 and 2005 GABF and the Silver Medal in 2006 and 2008 in the foreign-style stout category. In addition, there are always numerous seasonal beers on tap to fit the mood of the season and one selection served on nitrogen.

Our main brewing facility is located in Southeast Portland, Oregon. It has a 20-barrel capacity and a grain silo and was built by Global Stainless Systems of Canby, Oregon. It supplements the original 5-barrel brewery located right inside the Alameda Brewhouse.

Alameda Brewing Co. is a small brewery at 4765 NE Fremont Street in Portland, Oregon. All of our beers are produced on location. We also feature a pub with a full menu and happy hour specials.


In addition to our timeless house ales, Alameda Brewing Co. is constantly perfecting a rotating selection of seasonal and specialty beers.
